Good morning, if you follow along on my Pinterest account you know I have a board just dedicated to fashion.  Some might find this amusing since I don’t always have the time to look quite as fashionable as I would like.  What is my style?  hmmm just like with design I don’t have one style I like the best; I prefer to mix and match as I go.  Obviously for day to day jeans are my staple and they are usually paired with boots or my Toms wedges (LOVE those shoes!) and a scarf from the shop.  Also dangly earrings are a must.  As with furniture I do love vintage clothing too especially coats.

Yes, I wear high heels even though I’m 5’11.  I love heels year round, even in the snow! Now a days you can get the height with wedges and be able to walk around all day with the best of them.

A few fashion tips:

1- Buy things that are comfortable you won’t wear them if they aren’t

2- Make a statement with accessories: jewelry, handbags, scarf, etc.. these are great places to pop color and texture

3 – A good pair of boots are worth the money as they get broken in they look even better

4 – Consider vintage jewelry, purses and clothes to add style and interest to any outfit

5 – Layer clothes just like you layer home decor to add interest, color and texture.
