We are all about MMS Milk Paint Today.  Our featured color is Curio.  Curio is a rich, walnut brown that is perfect to use as a glaze or stain.  It’s also a great color to use for mixing with other colors.  It was named for the rich wood on a curio Marian inherited from her aunt.

Pair Curio with a lightened version of Apron Strings for a classic brown and pink pairing.  We sell MMS paints in the shop and online with all of the other goodies: furniture wax, antiquing fax, bonding agent, and so much more!  Also check out our Milk Paint FAQ’s page.

How much will one quart of Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint cover?

This depends on the surface being painted and how much water is added when mixing. The paint coverage will be different on bare wood and porous vs. shiny, previously coated pieces that require the bonding agent. Typically one quart of a very light white will cover approximately 50-70 sq ft, whereas a darker color will cover 70 + sq ft. For example, one quart will cover a large armoire/hutch OR a dresser and two side tables.
