This week, we thought we’d feature another beautiful color from Miss Mustard Seed Milk Paint, as shown on a piece by Chelsey of Shopacozyhouse, whose buffet makeover is proof that Milk Paint is a great product for achieving a modern finish OR a distressed look. This stunning piece, painted in Typewriter, is right on trend with the two-tone look and proves the mixing of black and brown taboo is officially antiquated. This piece really is giving us all the feels!

To achieve a similar modern finish with milk paint, you may need to add bonding agent to the paint and give your piece a light sand. It’s an easy step that can help you to achieve beautiful results at home. Learn more about using Milk Paint when you register for our Furniture Painting Basics class!

Don’t forget to send us your transformations each month for a chance to win DIY products. Enter using #SPPaintPro on Instagram.

Happy Painting!
