I get asked a lot if it is safe to use the paint and wax on baby cribs.  First of all painting a baby crib is not for the faint of heart!  I have done one for a customer and it’s a lot of work. Then I had my own kids and saw that my boy loves to chew on his crib….yes I said chew.  I think he has stopped doing it now but when those teeth started to come in he gave them a workout on his crib.

We recently got an email from Annie saying that the wax was “toy safety” approved so the answer is YES you can feel confident about using our Chalk Paint® and wax line on your kids furniture even if you think they might use it as a chew toy!

I did a little searching on Pinterest for folks that has redone cribs with chalk paint® and found a few examples.  Such a great way to save some money when setting up your nursery.  Cribs are expensive!
