Yes it’s true you can transform an ugly outdated chairs etc. with Chalk Paint!  For our pop up shop (#stylishpatinapopup) in Mosaic District I did half of a couch! I applied Old White to the frame and then French Linen to the velvet.

DURING…she still needs to be waxed!

How did I do this?  It’s super easy…..

1 – Do a mix of 50/50 water and paint.  Apply to the fabric 2 coats (let dry in between)

2 – Then 3/4 chalk paint – 1/4 water mix. Apply 1 coat (let dry)

3 – Touch up with 100% Chalk Paint – let dry

4 – Wax like you would piece of furniture this will make it feel more like leather!

Wallah….you are done!
