As you all know, I am a born and raised Falls Church girl and think it is truly an incredible community and place to live. Stylish Patina is a local business and as such is committed to giving back and participating in local initiatives. Which is why when I stumbled across an ongoing drive from Nova Scripts and Middleburg Management, I knew we wanted to participate. Nova Scripts is an amazing organization that provides life saving medications to the underserved throughout Northern Virginia.

Their drive aims to collect supplies to put together 500 care packages for our troops stationed overseas and for homeless veterans before the holiday season.  And we want to help them reach (if not surpass) that goal and we need your help to do it! We plan to collect supplies at both locations (Falls Church City + Mosaic District) starting today through November 8th (the final day of the drive) and would appreciate any donation you could give.

Help us give back during this special time of year to those who have given so much to our country.  It’s a time to be thankful for what we have and help others who are less fortunate or serving our country during the holiday season.  I’m sure this is the hardest time for our soldiers to be away from family and loved ones.

P.S. I don’t know about you all, but every year I have leftover Halloween candy (aka temptations) and I am always looking for a way to get rid of it that isn’t just throwing it away. Drop off your leftover candy at either of our stores to be included in the care packages!
