I thought I’d share some of my before & after projects as I am getting the shop fixed up.  This first one is a table I fell in love with from the second I saw it.  I swear it spoke to me, lol.  Laura was joking about this the other day and I said I should say I’m the furniture whisperer.  We got a big kick out of that!

This console table I ended up doing in Chalk paint with a two color application.  The 1st layer of paint is pure white, the 2nd layer is paris grey.  I lovingly distressed it and then applied annie sloan clear wax.

    Very pretty. It looks like dark wax was used to accent the carvings but you said just clear. How did you get the detail in the carvings to stand out?
