Today I am highlighting a before and after that we did in the shop that I just love.  The dresser has a gorgeous marble top with an attached mirror.  I actually loved it as was but eventually I gave in to my urge to paint it so it could have a lighter feel.

I chose Paris Grey Chalk Paint for the color to accent the beautiful marble on the top.  I sealed it in Annie Sloan clear wax after some slight distressing with a sanding sponge.  I can just see this vintage piece in a bedroom or in a hallway as a great drop spot for mail and keys.

  1. Oooh, the new colour really brings out the details. I agree that it would be awesome in many different rooms and styles. Those are the best pieces to invest in imo.
