Brrrrr! Here in Northern Virginia we got out first snowfall of the season this week and it is frigid now. We thought, what better time to share a winter-hued chalk paint transformation – a before and after of a stunning armoire.
This one is brought to us by Diana over at the Paint Factory in Portland, OR. A self-admitted paint addict in need of serious help (we feel you Diane). So all the way from the left coast, here is Pam’s stunning DIY project.
The before: an Indian-inspired cabinet/armoire in need of some lovin’.
Diane refreshed this piece using various Annie Sloan Chalk Paint products:
“Seriously, not even kidding. I used ASCP with waxes, and glazes, and distressed the mirrors and repainted the backs with MM gold metallic paint. It works. Who says you can only use ASCP for county shabby chic things?”
Amen, Diane! It does work. Here is her after, seriously check out the detailing on this beautiful piece.
Round of applause for Diane and her beautiful work!
