I just finished a custom project for a client and I just love them!!! They had these beautiful side tables that they found for a steal..they just needed a little stylish patina love. Take a look at the before and after pictures below.
I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Versailles and clear wax. I think they look just wonderful. They are lightly distressed nothing over the top.
Oh, these are awesome.
Beautiful!!! Just what I’m looking to do in my dining room soon! Enjoying your site!
Love that you did just a little distressing…perfect!
They look so good! WOW!
They look great but I have a question about the color you used. When I look at the AS color chart, Versailles has a greenish look to it. The color I see on the tables looks more like old white. I know computer monitors display color differently but this is a huge difference. Can you explain?
Thanks, I love your blog. J. Bishop @ TheTexasBishops.blogspot.com
Great look – love it. I have a question, did you rough up the surface of the tables so that the paint would grab better?
They are beautiful. My pictures came out the same on the sideboard I painted Versailles they looked white until I took a pic in my booth then the green was more apparent strange huh? Love those end tables.
Those tricky cameras!!!
