Just a quick blog post from here at the Annie Sloan Unfolded conference. If you follow the blog and visit the shop you know that I mix chalk paint colors often to make the perfect color that I love. When I get back in town I am going to offer a class on color mixing using our Annie Sloan Workbook.
In the class we will talk about where the chalk paint colors fall on a traditional color chart and guidelines in mixing and matching them. I am really excited about this new workshop and hope to offer it in May, stay tuned and email me if you are interested in attending – kelly@stylishpatina.com.
I wanted to share one of my favorite new color mixes. I’ve been playing with Aubusson and Florence a lot lately and I have come up with a darker version 3 parts aubusson to one part florence and then a lighter version which is 2 part florence 1 part aubusson.
Below is an image of a china hutch I painted for the Washington Home & Garden design room. Happy painting!
What a great class. I would loved to be able to go to this one. I just don’t live close enough. LOL
Great idea for a class!
I always spent my half an hour to read this blog’s articles or reviews everyday along with a mug of coffee.
