Good morning! I don’t get many moments these days with little Greyson + the twins to write blog posts but I just had to share the pictures of this kitchen makeover from one of our customers! Paula sent me these pictures with a little blurb and said we could share her kitchen transformation.
From Paula: “They are maple and were originally stained with a ginger glaze. I cleaned them first (to get the kitchen grease off) but didn’t sand or do any other prep work. It took two coats of (chalk paint by Annie Sloan) paint and one coat of (Annie Sloan) clear wax. We mixed Paris Grey and Greek Blue, 50/50, to get this color.”
I love seeing not only the painted kitchen cabinets BUT the color mixture she came up with. It looks like a designer kitchen with just a little paint and effort. For a tenth of the price they have a brand new fresh looking kitchen. This is the true power of our Chalk Paint line at work. For more FAQ’s about Chalk Paint check out this page on the website.
Join us for one of our Chalk Paint classes or just come to the shop or order online your materials for your next project!
