You will have to pardon my lack of styling the kitchen before I took pictures of it for you but at 37 weeks preggo I was lucky to take pictures with the fancy camera.  We are so happy to have a kitchen!  I think my favorite thing is the super white granite on the counters.  We did silver soapstone on the island and I like it but LOVE the super white granite.

Originally we planned on doing a marble tile backsplash (you can see the original ideas for the kitchen here) and maybe one day we will however; I was loving the super white so they cut the back splash for us and it looked beautiful (and it saved us money).  And in all honesty I just couldn’t stand to have another set of contractors in the house right now.

I have tons to still do in an effort to make it more cozy but at least it’s installed!  The window treatments, art, rugs, etc. will come in time just like with the rest of the house.
