i adore old trunks and boxes and think they make great coffee tables.  I was reorganizing our living room this weekend and pulled out this wood trunk from the basement to use as a coffee table.  the size was great but it was a bit too low.  so the answer…..casters!  my hubby helped me attach these great home depot casters to bottom of the trunk and now it’s perfect!

I often use casters on vintage boxes too for great rolling storage.  Happy christmas eve for those of you celebrating christmas!

I move the coffee table that were here before into another part of the room and it works great!
