I wanted to share a couple project I have done with General Finishes Milk Paint {GFMP}. The thing I LOVE about this paint is that….
– It comes premixed in a can
– The coverage is awesome
– It gives you a satin finish
It is a totally different look than Chalk Paint™ or Old Fashioned Milk Paint.
I didn’t sand or prime either of these projects. They actually both were painted with Chalk Paint™ and I just applied GFMP on top, then distressed and sealed.
The above was done with General Finishes Lamp Black on top of Chalk Paint™ and then the top coat is Van Dan Beeswax.
The below was done with General Finishes BASIL over Chalk Paint™ , distressed and the sealed with Annie Sloan Clear wax.
we enjoy using General Finishes products, as well. I find it has better coverage than powdered milk paint, and it does have a lovely finish! Your pieces look great…Basil is one of my favorites, along with Bayberry!
I’m loving the coverage:-)
Hey Kelly, will you be selling the General Finishes Paint at the barn sales?! I would love to try some and the Frederick location is convenient for me!
Hi!
Not initially we won’t be selling it out there but maybe in the future!
Hi, Kelly
Lovely pieces. Love the black table.
