This Friday, March 2, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM – is our First Friday celebration in Falls Church.  Stifel & Capra will be open late while serving yummy snacks and adult beverages!  I’m planning on attending and hope you will swing by.

Each First Friday we have a featured artist and this months she is coming all the way from the New York Area!  Meet Grace Napoleon of Folk Couture as she presents her line of upcycled clothes redesigned from remnants and old favorites. Grace Napoleon of Folk Couture makes clothes out of clothes – hand-stitched, one of kind and wonderful…just like the women who wear them! Meet our resident artists and enjoy the newest art & artisan offerings along with a tasty snack. Grace’s trunk show contiues Saturday.

Grace will also be having a Recycle your closet workshop Sunday March 4, 1-3:30pm. You can make your own Folk Couture piece with Grace’s help on Sunday. Just bring 3-4 pieces of clothing you are willing to cut up…Grace brings the scissors, needles, thread, buttons and scraps…and in a couple of hours you will leave with a brand new “folk couture inspired” piece of your very own $50 per person…sign up with a friend (or 2) and save 10%.
