What a better topic for colorful Monday that there color of the year.  The color for 2014 is Radiant Orchid!  I must admit this isn’t my favorite color although as an accents it can be beautiful.

My husband actually is the fan of purple tones in our house not so much me.    If you follow along on Facebook you know I started destructing my bathrooms this weekend and actually I used a grey purple for the walls!  More to come on that project…OMG…way more than I planned on taking on. I chose the 3rd from the top – very color of the year don’t you think?).

The Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan color that I think falls into this color pallet is Henrietta. I was poking around online and found a few great images of how the color of the year is being used both in homes, fashion and weddings!  I hope you enjoy…..
