My dear friend “D” as I call her offered to host my baby shower for the twins and in true D form it was amazing and beautiful! She and her husband live in a beautiful town house in Old Town, Alexandria. It was a rainy yucky day outside but the house was warm and beautiful inside. The food was to die for and I was a bad blogger and didn’t take enough pictures of everything!
A few of the cutest things ever (and great ideas if you have to throw a shower) were:
– that she had baby bibs on her topiary’s out front
– a little pink & blue bathrobes on the front door
– and the most adorable little Ralph Lauren onsie’s on the mantle with clothes pins
– 2 little cakes one in pink for our girl and one in blue for the boy
Many heart felt thanks to D (and her hubby) for throwing the shower and opening up their home. The “Costco Babies” (get it 2 for 1 special) as she lovingly calls them give their aunty D a big thank you too.

I really like the bibs because it is very adorably and cute to use on my baby. What I like about the preparations is that it is very stylish and a little bit shabby. Such a beautiful baby items.
