I wanted to share two amazing tables I found and refreshed. Both of these had great lines but were a bit scary! I just couldn’t say no them.. I saw the potential. I wish I had before and after pics for you but these days I’m lucky to get any pictures it seems. Some days I just do the iphone, I guess it’s better than nothing right?
Here is the first little table, her shape is a bit odd but it’s part of what I loved about her! She was refreshed in annie sloan paris grey. No white undercoat I actually don’t do a two coat process that often I really love having the wood color show after the distressing and then just some clear wax.
Then this little guy as well was an odd shape but it’s what I loved about him. He is actually done in a combo of old ochre and coco, distressed and clear wax applied.
I just LOVE the table on the bottom ~ how cool!
Hi Kelly,
You’ve inspired me to bust out my can of chalk paint (I bought it this summer and haven’t used it till today). I found a buffet on the corner of my street and after two days walking by and an thinking that has potential. So I lugged it home and I’ve been working on it all day — Old ochre. Next I’ll be headed over to S&C to pick up some wax.
Best!
Julie
