The beginnings of a design install. For the last few weeks I’ve been working with a new client in N. Arlington. First we started with the family room/kitchen, then chatted about the living and dining rooms and finally the 3 boys rooms.
For the living/kitchen area I found them a great vintage french provincial table now it just needs chairs! And we finally got the sectional ordered and decided on a rug and general color pallet for the throw pillows. I think we might have even decided on wall color {yippie!}.
The other day we were talking and she said I want to do all the boys rooms soon and in like 24 hours. My kind of client….we had a theme for each room that she picked based on what the boys were into and off we went. The last couple of weeks have been busy for her and I but today we started the design install. 2 of the rooms were painted, we rearranged the floor plan and added in a few vintage / gently used items and it’s really looking amazing. The rooms are cozy and “warm”.
Now we need to get up the window treatments and add in a few decor elements and they will be done. If she gives me the okay I’ll share the before and after pictures of the boys rooms and then the other rooms as we finish them up.
Such a fun day! These are the days I really love my job…the transformation is what I adore — furniture or interiors.
