I was up late last night delivering two new dressers to Stifel & Capra in Falls Church (260 West Broad FC 22046). I have this wonderful “fall” dresser where I refinished the top and then painted the base in ASCP Olive. My husband wanted to keep it he liked it so much.
Then the 2nd dresser I as well am having a hard time parting with because it is so unique but there is no “room at the inn” so it much go. The 2nd dresser I painted ASCP old white on the outside and then in the interior is ASCP Provence. LOVE it! Here are a few pictures …I’ll do l a later post on how I refinished the top of Olive for you to read. Sorry the pics are a bit dark:-(
I also put the ASCP no spill tops in the shop. They are $5.95 each and well worth it! They take a bit to get on but just run them under hot water if you need to stretch them out a bit remember you want a tight seal on the chalk paint can. I don’t have a ton in the shop right now they are a “hot” commodity so grab them while you can. Feel free to call the shop in advance of the day your are going and have your colors and tops set aside, 703.533.3557. I don’t want you to waste a trip!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Love Love Love both dressers – think I like the Olive dresser just a tad more which is surprising to me. So fabulous. The ASCP display makes my mouth water. Can’t wait to have a sale or two so that I can get some of the those fabulous no spill tops – I live in AZ and it’s a tad bit dry here. Anyway, love both of the dressers!!.
I know I was surprised how much I loved the Olive as well!!! The lids I have to say are a god send! When you get a chance they are worth the investment:-)
Love both of the pieces but I LOVE olive. I painted a coffee table in it and I’m thinking it’s my favorite so far. Well… Aubusson Blue, too, oh can’t forget Old Ochre. I painted a bathroom vanity Old Ochre and i.love.it! It takes me a loooong time to pick something in my house and paint it but once I do I’m happy. Kelly, I’m really wanting to paint my stair rail Graphite as in the picture on your site (next to the Aubusson Blue piece that is gorgeous). I need a “just do it” pill! I’m an over-thinker and I’m getting so tired of it. Your work is beautiful. Glad to see the new colors are in. I’m heading over to the online shop. You inspire me!!!!!!!!
I love Aubusson blue too!! I have heard of doing them together Aubusson and Olive so I think I need to do a little experiment! Thanks so much for the comment it made my day:-)
Hi Kelly! Love the olive dresser. I need to come over and pick up some of those drawer pulls like I said I would… do you have a good selection in stock right now?
