Terratorie Maps + Goods (Cherry Blossom Creative)

Are you looking for some unique Virginia gifts?! I am always looking for local makers and products to sell in the shop. I am excited to have found another NEW local(ish) artist, Terratorie Maps + Goods! Terratorie’s mission is to cultivate connectedness to place. The Artist behind the beauty is Torie Partridge. She creates illustrated maps to help you celebrate your memories in cities and neighborhoods – whether it’s the city you call home, the neighborhood where you bought your first apartment, or the street corner where you shared your first kiss.

The Mission

They are women-owned, independently-run, and use sustainable local printing methods. Community is their passion, creating thoughtful, provenance-centric goods comes second nature. Each map that Terratorie creates is illustrated with the community in mind. They choose which maps to illustrate next based on votes and requests from customers (vote for your neighborhood!), as well as special partnerships with local independent shops. Each hand-drawn map has a color palette that’s as unique as the neighborhood itself and is created in the our design studio in Washington, DC. The maps are meticulously researched with input from locals and neighbors.

Local Love

They have not created anything for Falls Church YET, but I am hoping we can collaborate over time and get a few more Northern Virginia options in the shop. But take a look at these gorgeous and unique pieces of art, cards and prints. The cards are so beautiful they could easily be framed after given. All of these are available for purchase in the store and in our online shop. We have the NOVA (Northern Virginia) large print + card plus the National Mall Print + Card as well as an Arlington Card since we are so close to Arlington.
