My latest addiction is/are vintage boxes and drawers…okay so I’m fibbing a bit I’ve had the addiction for a while. BUT I have two new favorite uses for those darling little sewing machine drawers you find every now and then. I started putting the remote controls in them upstairs on our bedside table AND I now use one to hold my makeup in the bathroom {obviously no I don’t wear much make up}. We have small bathrooms so it sits perfectly above the toilet!
I just painted up 4 little sewing boxes and dropped them off at Stifel & Capra since I got a few requests for them at Lucketts after I showed one in the tour of my home. I also found these fab old drawers that could be used to hold all kinds of stuff {just dropped off two of those as well at the shop}.
I need to pitch a tent in their parking lot to watch for all of your great treasures 🙂
I love that visual:-)
I have been doing these for years, just hand painting roses and bluebonnets on them, but have some I have saved….thank you, I haven’t done any with the ASCP, but I am about to. I love yours!
These are lovely pieces. Great idea too.
Hi there, maybe it was you that waited on me at Lucketts when I bought my brush from you…I am the one that was visiting my daughter, but I live in Washington State..and I had a chair that needs another coat of annie sloan and how to do that since it’s been waxed……anyway I just packed that brush up with me to take it home and use on all my summer projects….I had no idea I was in your booth because I have been following your blog for over a year, bummer I would have liked to have told you that I love your blog!
Brought the yellow drawer home! Love it.
