I am so excited to announce that I submitted a color to the General Finishes color contest and was selected!  We are now offering a new color spectrum for this great line of paint and one of the colors is called “Patina Green” named and selected my moi!

If you follow along with the blog and Facebook you know I am a sucker for green.  It all started with Ira my ’76 ford pick up.  Ira had been at the core of the business since the beginning.  Actually the business name Stylish Patina came from Ira, my husband and I used to joke that he had a lot of “patina” hence all of his age spots and so when I was looking for a business name I decided on Stylish Patina a blend of old and new.

As you see Ira is also green.  Thus began my love of the color green.  The 2nd item I acquired that deepened my love for green was a set of shutters that I sadly I sold.  They are still a huge part of the branding for Stylish Patina.  I use a photo I look of them in most all of the marketing.
