When we’re talking about things we LOVE for kids – one feature we’re focused making learning fun. Crayon Rocks do exactly that! When little ones pick up these brightly colored pieces they’re naturally developing the muscles and coordination they’ll need later in life and exploring all their natural creativity.

In case you can’t tell, we’re kind of obsessed with these Crayon Rocks.  They were invented by a special education teacher to help children develop a proper tripod grip (needed for writing well) and made in the USA out of eco-friendly soy wax.  Since a child’s first writing tool is usually a crayon, that crayon should be one that encourages him or her to use thumb, first and second fingers in a tripod grip. This is what makes Crayon Rocks a wonderful tool for fine motor development. They let your kid focus on the fun of drawing and creating while still learning proper technique! Outside of all of that, my children just adore these crayons!  The colors are rich and flow onto paper easily… and they are coloring with rocks, so what could be better?  Come check them out in store!
