You know how you have those days that you watch the clock and wish you could speed it up? Well lately I’m having days that I wish I could slow down the clock. There never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done. It is the life of a small business owner where you title is CEO, hauler, picker, delivery driver, painter, shipper, marketing manager, customer service rep, etc & you work 7 days a week at least 12 hours a day. I like to tease my fellow small business owners that are working full time …. it’s not so sexy is it:-) It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. I can’t lie there are days that I miss going to my office every day, getting a steady paycheck, having vacation and sick time.
Then there are days when I can’t imagine doing anything else. Much like everything in life it’s a balancing act and each day you set your priorities. Right now I need to ship paint orders, get ready for refresh class tomorrow, unpack inventory, stock inventory, pick up furniture, paint furniture and somewhere in there give my hubby a little attention.
All this being said, if you have gone to Stifel & Capra and I didn’t have the color you needed in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint…I have not returned an email or I am running behind on a custom paint project, { I apologize}! Please email me at Kelly@stylishpatina.com and I will do everything in my power to make it up to you. Thanks for supporting the small business owner.
REMINDER for those in Refresh Basics Class tomorrow:
1-3pm at Falls Church Community Center
Next Class will be April 28th 1-3 at FC Community Center. Register here.
I’m soooo with you Kelly! I wouldn’t trade it for the world but would love maybe an additional 2-3 hours a day 😉
