The stockings were hung by the chimney (mantel) with care in hopes that lots of fabulous people would visit us at Rough Luxe Market this weekend!  Theme this month is Holiday Glitz but I’ve been just calling it Deck The Halls.

The girls and I all LOVE the holidays (I mean really who doesn’t) so we went all out in the warehouse this month and created a cozy little stylish patina holiday home for you to visit.  There were a few sets of items that really got me going on this theme first were a pair of vintage green leather wing chairs.  I fell in love with them the minute I saw them plus they were green so you know I had to have them.  One reclines and the other doesn’t so they are his & her wing chairs.

The next two items that really impacted the design for this month were 2 sets of fabulous 10′ foot salvaged doors from Indonesia.  And of course one was green so it was destined to come home with me.  My mom thought I was totally crazy for buying these but I couldn’t turn them down.   The doors are statement pieces that you just never find so when you see them you have to buy them.  They remind me of something you would see in an Anthropologie magazine……love.

The third aspect of this months design are two re-imaged vintage settees that I recently had finished.  Both of the frames came out of a home in Falls Church City and they needed to be rebuilt from scratch.  They are fabulous and one of kind stylish patina designs.  I hope they find the perfect home.
