I just love the Chalk Paint™ color French Linen.  It’s just a beautifully rich color yet still a wonderful neutral.  I picked up this lovely chest and was just waiting for the right inspiration to paint it.  Finally this weekend I decided on French Linen.  I wanted to really play up all the beautiful lines of the piece so I selected pure white as the base color.

Here she is after the base coat…

Then I started with the french linen.  As you can see I went ahead and painted over the hardware.  In the end I distressed the hardware and added a little gilding wax to them..lovely.  Here is the final result.  She just went into Falls Church {$395}.
