Meet Nancy + Daria our featured Before + After blog post today!

Tell us a little bit about yourself:

My daughter Daria and I attended 2 of the chalk paint classes taught by Christine and we were hooked. We’ve been experimenting with washes and chalk paint with great results. We are presently redoing our house and came up with a great way to cover an ugly brick fireplace. Labor provided by Nancy, and her daughters Daria and Carly.
Tell us about your project or redesign:
1. First the bricks were covered by oak boards in a ship lap fashion.
2. The boards were sanded.
3. We applied the Pioneer stain and waited 24 hours.
4. We then waxed the entire area with the Annie Sloan white wax.
