Yep I’m pregnant with TWINS! One boy and one girl due end of Sept/early October.  Some of you that may have seen me floating around might have been wondering if I had just gained a little weight (LOL) nope just baby weight!  I’ve been pretty laid up the past 5/6 months and the next 3 months will be more of the same but we are excited to finally start our family.  I’m pray for no bed rest but it may happen so I’m trying to slow down (yes I am trying!) in an effort to avoid it if at all possible.

Our little snuggle bugs have been a big reason why I have been repainting the house and moving my office around at home.  If you read the blog you know our house is pretty tiny and we only have one extra bedroom that I was using as an office.  This has now transitioned into a nursery.  I’ll be sure to fill you in as the nursery pulls together  (yes I’ll share pictures).  Here is a little inside look…I decided to use green as our base color and then for the girl her accent color will be pink (pink & green) and the boy is blue (blue & green).  This is the bumper they both have to tie the room together.

I went with a more modern style crib.  I chose the hudson crib for it’s clean lines.

The light fixture was swapped out too and I purchased this great flush mount from Pottery Barn.

So the twist to all of this is that we MIGHT be MOVING!  Yes we may have found a new house and be trying to renovate it and move in all before the twins come.  As my mother would say I can’t ever do one thing at a time so it actually makes total sense that I am having 2 babies at once and now in the process of potentially buying a house that needs renovating before we move in.  We have had a REALLY hard time finalizing the deal on the potential new house so who knows if it will work out  (we will know in a couple days).

So as you can see much has been going on behind the scenes over here and now since you are “in the know” the blog will be sharing our count down to the twins arrival as well as our  potential crazy life of being very pregnant with twins, selling a house, buying a house and renovating it all within a few short months!  It should be a wild ride so hold on tight.

Stay tuned for more pictures of the house as I am updating it to make room for babies and/or putting it on the market!  Now just a few cute twin baby photos seriously how cute are these….

Congratulations, congratulations! Twins! What amazing and beautiful news with possibly a new house to boot. You must be on cloud nine but it does not sound like there is any slowing down going on over there. You sound very busy with a great big dose of joy! Enjoy every minute of this new life of yours because they grow so fast. Take care!

Congrats on the twins! I have twin boys that are 18 and still extremely close! They are best of friends. I loved every minute of having twins. The bond they share are so special. Mine came 4 weeks early with no complications.

My daughter-in-law bought the same crib that you purchased for your twins. It looks beautiful in a nursery.

Congrats on twins! I have 4-year-old twins, boy-girl, and we actually moved to Japan when I was 24 weeks pregnant with them. What an adventure every day has been! In fact, the first time I visited the store, they were with me and my daughter nearly broke a lamp! I caught it! They will keep you on your toes, for sure 😉 Best wishes!

Congratulations Kelly, all the Corbinos are very excited for you!! So much fun in store for you with your two little ones. I have been editing “things” around the house and I ran into a postcard you sent to Greg to wish him happy first birthday when you were away at camp. I have continued to save it, I will share it with you. Here’s hoping you find the most wonderful babysitter for your family, as I did for mine!! Sending warm thoughts your way, don’t do too much!

  12. Congrats Kelly! So thrilled for you! Twins! Wow!
