Happy Tuesday! I can’t believe we are weeks away from welcoming our new little holiday angel. I am about 36 1/2 weeks pregnant and we are planning on welcoming our new baby girl early January. The date is still a little up in the air at this point due to all the holidays, she will be a planned c-section (hopefully) Part of me hopes she comes at the end of December since my brother + his wife will be here for the holidays. The other part of me is happy to wait until all of the holidays are over and we can enjoy them one last time with just Peyton + Liam, a little something special for them.
This Christmas the twins are just over 2 years old so it’s been really fun this season they know about Santa + kind of understand about the baby coming. It’s going to be an interesting next few months! We had our picture taken with Greatt Scott Photography at the warehouse during our holiday Toy Drive for Northern Virginia Family Services (NVFS) and she captured some fun shots of the kids. The are getting so big I can’t believe it when I look at the pictures.
We had such an amazing tun out for our Toy Drive we did holiday season I think we will be making it an annual tradition! I am the worst at having family pictures done for two reasons #1 I HATE having my picture taken and #2 Coordinating the time with kids + our busy work schedules just gets too daunting. We had a few quick pics taken at the toy drive, they ended up showing “real life” ! Which is actually the way I like it. Life is far from perfect at our house but we like to keep it real and focus on the moments and not worry about perfection. This photo is real life ……
I hope you all are enjoying this holiday season and trying to live in the moment and not cram in too many events + parties into your schedule. Time at home with family + friends is what the season is all about! Be sure to keep an eye on our website and Instagram account we post all of our holiday promotions and gift ideas via social media!
